NEW WORK FOR MAKANA FRAGRANCE
Makana means "gift" in Hawaiian.

I discovered Makana last summer and immediately fell in love with the brand’s aesthetic, quality and fragrance collection. Aligning with a brand’s ethos is very important to me; it helps me feel more connected and more creative. Sharing distinct roots in Hawaiʻi’s culture & traditions also made working with Makana even more special.
The concept around this campaign came from an emphasis on light & texture; using minimal organic environments to encapsulate this brand’s essence. I shot on both 35mm film and digital.
